SCHOLARSHIP ADD-ONS
Margaret Bolton Baudinet, College Solutions’ Owner and CEO, serves as the Scholarship Specialist for Summit Package clients and those who choose scholarship support as an add-on. A 2003 Coca-Cola Scholar, Margaret has served on prestigious scholarship selection committees, including UVA’s Jefferson Scholarship and the Coca-Cola Scholars Program.
College Solutions offers three levels of scholarship support to help students compete for significant awards:
SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT
Included in our Summit package and available as an add-on service for Essentials and Senior Sprint clients.
Margaret personally reviews the student’s file to identify scholarships aligned with their aptitudes, interests, and qualifications. Families receive a tailored scholarship list in September of senior year. College Solutions’ essay specialists provide support with up to 3 drafts per essay.
MAJOR SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT
Included in our Capstone package and available as an add-on service for Summit, Essentials, and Senior Sprint clients.
For students pursuing competitive merit scholarships requiring multiple essays and/or interviews, this option includes tailored essay guidance (up to 3 drafts per essay) and interview coaching. Examples include the Elks Scholarship, Emory Scholars Program, and NC State’s Park Scholarship.
HIGH FLYER FIVE
Available as an add-on service for Capstone, Summit, Essentials, and Senior Spring clients.
Focused on five of the most competitive and prestigious scholarships: UVA’s Jefferson Scholarship, UNC’s Morehead-Cain Scholarship, W&L’s Johnson Scholarship, Duke’s Robertson Scholarship, and the Coca-Cola Scholarship. This intensive $5,000 program includes:
Up to 3 drafts per essay
Two interview coaching sessions per scholarship
Support for other prestigious scholarships included under Major Scholarship Support
OTHER ADD-ON SERVICES
ADDITIONAL APPLICATION SUPPORT
An expert writing coach will provide feedback and revisions for five (additional) college applications. Your existing admission expert will strategize with you on essay topics and structure. This package is solely available as an add-on package.
HOURLY CONSULTING
Work one-on-one with your expert, who will continue to guide you through the college application process in blocks of three hours. Please note: This does not include essay assistance.
ATHLETIC RECRUITMENT
Work with one of our athletic recruitment experts in two meetings to assemble an athletic list, create a coach communication strategy, and develop an athletic resume and online presence.
VISUAL & PERFORMING ARTS
Work one-on-one with our visual and performing arts expert, who is a classically trained musician and a former admission official at a highly-regarded American conservatory. With two meetings, he will review your portfolio of work, offer suggestions on colleges, and explain how you should prepare for the application process, with its deadlines, portfolio reviews, and/or auditions.
