The College Solutions Review Program Overview

The College Solutions Review is for current high school seniors finalizing their application materials to submit to colleges and universities.

College Solutions is a team of counselors with a remarkable amount of college admission knowledge. Each counselor brings his or her own wealth of knowledge from a background full of admission, athletic, and academic accomplishments and have visited thousands of campuses across the nation.
In 2022, the primary reviewer of your application will be College Solutions Managing Director Patrick Zylka. Patrick spent 15 years working in college admissions, most recently at Northwestern University. During this time, he read more than 10,000 applications and gave presentations to prospective college applicants throughout the United States, China, Indonesia, and Singapore. Patrick works with students interested in pursuing all majors in college, especially those interested in admission to highly selective schools. Patrick earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his master’s degree from the University of Michigan.

Personal Statement
All answers on up to three supplemental college applications
All supplemental essays for up to three schools

Within 7 days of receiving your materials, our team will provide:
Comprehensive notes and actionable recommendations on your Common Application and supplemental applications for three schools
Detailed comments and recommendations on your Common Application personal statement and all supplemental essays for up to three schools
A summary of your uniqueness and competitiveness based on a detailed assessment of all application materials received and reviewed

As soon as you’re ready! But, you should provide all of your materials in one email to our team no later than 14 days before the application deadline.

Our team will complete their review and provide recommendations and feedback within 7 days of receiving your materials.

Once you sign up for the program, you will receive an invoice for $1,000 to the email address you specify. You may pay by credit card, debit card, or ACH bank transfer. Invoices must be paid within 72 hours. Once paid, you will receive detailed instructions on how to submit your materials.
Our review of your materials will not begin until payment and materials are received.

While we believe the feedback you receive from our team will be easy-to-understand and actionable, our team would be happy to schedule a follow-up time with you to meet via Zoom and discuss our feedback and recommendations.
The cost for an hour with a College Solutions admissions counselor is $200 per hour. You can indicate you would be interested in this option when signing up for the program or get in touch with us about booking after our feedback is complete.
