Individuals who are interested in a successful career as a college consultant with College Solutions. This is best for those who prefer/need a flexible work schedule but who still long to make a lasting impact on those around them.

Remote; all learning is asynchronous, and staff meetings are virtual.

More about the Fellowship program

This application-based college consulting fellowship program is for individuals who want to establish themselves as successful independent college counselors under the College Solutions banner. It will support employees as they pursue their College Counseling Certification through UCLA.

The Fellowship will last nine months as the Fellows are paid hourly for their academic and professional work. Fellows should expect 10-15 hours of asynchronous coursework and 1-3 counseling observations/meetings with College Solutions staff per week. College Solutions will cover the cost of the UCLA certification and its related materials (approximately a $7,000 value).

After nine months, the Fellow will be eligible for a promotion to the role of Counselor. The CEO of College Solutions, alongside the VP of Counseling, will determine if the Fellow is ready for such a promotion. The Counselor is paid an annual wage of up to $80,000 and is eligible for a performance-based bonus with no upper limit. The Counselor is eligible for an hourly pay of up to $27/hour if part-time.

If promoted, the Fellow must continue the remaining 6-12 months of academic coursework until the UCLA certification is earned. This academic work will be in addition to the employee’s role as a Counselor.

If the Fellow fails to complete the certification or, for some reason, chooses not to join College Solutions as a Counselor, he/she/they will be responsible for repaying all certification expenses to College Solutions.
