Even though he applied to Cornell Early Decision and was hoping to get accepted, we advised that he apply to other schools while waiting to hear. He wrote dozens of essays. Sameer changed his Personal Essay topic late in the process because he felt his first one didn’t capture him well enough. We helped shape it into a beautiful essay about wanting to understand systems, using one of his artistic passions as a vehicle.

We brainstormed unique topics for every school on his list, met with Sameer frequently to help him keep track of all the work he had to get done and to prep him for his Cornell interview.
