Will’s writing skills took off during the application process and he was accepted into all his target schools by early October.

HOW COLLEGE SOLUTIONS HELPED

We started by brainstorming with Will to find out more of his interests and character traits. He is personable; that trait ultimately shined through on his Common App and University of California App. His leadership skills were emerging; he had just founded a popular club at his high school. The common thread in his extracurriculars was a desire to bring people together.

Throughout the process, Will became a good writer with an amazing sense of humor. We helped him develop his main story about an interest in nutrition and weightlifting into an engaging story about independence and a desire to help others make changes in their own lives.

RESULTS

Will was worried about finding a school but was accepted into Penn State’s main campus a few weeks after he applied. It put him and his family at ease early.
