On-Campus Tours Have Returned — A Little

Before COVID, college visit season would have been in full swing this time of year with high school vacation weeks and spring around the corner.

This year most colleges are offering a menu of virtual options including chats with current students, texts with deans, online interviews, and opportunities to attend classes. These virtual options are extremely helpful ways for students to get to know the colleges on their lists, but sometimes students need to ‘experience’ prospective campuses. If your student needs to get the feel of a campus in person, there are options. Some colleges have resumed their on-campus visit schedules with tours (most adhering to social distance protocols) and information sessions (truncated and divided into small groups in many cases).

If you want to plan a trip with some in-person visits, check out this link to a small list of schools and their current visit options.
